Security
A public overview of the NurseTrace security posture for facility deployments.
Clear public information for facilities reviewing NurseTrace access, privacy, security, and use boundaries.
Facility isolation
NurseTrace is designed so each facility's data remains separated from other facilities. Users should only see information that matches their role and facility membership.
Access boundaries
Staff, Facility Support Admins, Facility Main Admins, and Platform Admins have different access boundaries. Public-facing product pages do not expose clinical workflows or private facility data.
Access controls and audit trail
- Facility data is protected through server-side access controls.
- Important patient, facility, billing, security, and operational actions are logged for review.
- Destructive and sensitive platform operations are designed with stronger checks.
- Operational monitoring focuses on count-only or status-only signals where possible.
PHI-conscious notifications and reminders
Notifications and operational alerts are designed to avoid unnecessary patient details. SMS reminder workflows are consent-aware and controlled by facility readiness, subscription status, wallet balance, and provider availability.
Privacy-conscious reminders
- Reminder messages focus on follow-up actions and facility contact, not private clinical details.
- Support messages warn users not to include patient-identifying information.
- Rate limiting and abuse controls are being added to sensitive workflows.
- Security reviews and hardening work continue as the platform matures.
Important boundary
This page is a public security overview, not a guarantee that every risk has been eliminated and not a substitute for facility agreements, local legal review, or future formal assurance work.
